About TCC

This adventure was started back in 2002 when blogs were still cool; unfortunately for my readers, I was not. Back then I was a new Angeleno, a wet-behind-the-ears transplant from New York City, suffering the effects of pizza and bagel withdrawal, wondering why everyone I knew was suddenly so far away. Enter the utility of near-anonymous blog posting and commentary on LA culture (not to mention the effects of a skewed worldview and a touch of caffeine addiction), and The Coffee Chronicles was born. TCC has a long and storied history, most of which is neither interesting or relevant, I’m afraid. (But it’s free. Yep, that’s right.)

As for me, well, I’m just some guy, you know? Everything you need to know can be gleaned from the musings contained within. That’s my story (for now), and I’m sticking to it.

So browse around and see if you can’t find something that’s worth perusing, and feel free to make suggestions. And when I come up with something much more witty and urbane to place in this spot, I’ll be sure to let you know.
